MARINA OIC-Executive Director of the STCW Office, Atty. Joy Ban-eg in her feedback expressed appreciation of the projects of MMP and which she diagnosed as providing useful inputs to the organization’s instruction of the Maritime Industry Development Program (MIDP). Atty. Ban-eg who heads the manpower group of the MIDP committee agreed to work carefully with the MMP’s human capital group.

The Angkla party-list, led by Congressman Jesulito Manalo the next day, June 30, convened the Maritime Leaders Conference at the Summit Ridge in Tagaytay City. The conference subject “Partners in the direction of Philippine Maritime Development” aptly defined the objective of the convention, which turned into to reinforce cooperation many of the industry stakeholders. The Angkla conference underscored the significance of strengthening cooperation most of the numerous sectors and maintaining the partnership among authorities and industry.
